Kindermusik & Children’s Choir at First Presbyterian Church
Wednesday Evenings | 6:00 – 6:45 P.M.
First Presbyterian has music and movement classes for children of all ages. Come and experience what the whole community is talking about! Kindermusik at First Presbyterian will immerse your child in musical learning that emphasizes story-telling, imaginative play, and taking turns. Songs and rhymes will develop phonetic awareness and early reading skills; playing rhythm instruments will improve fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination; focused listening with music will aid in following directions; developmentally-appropriate songs will develop vocal cords and expressive speech.
Children’s Choir with Suzanne introduces a variety of instruments, site reading, as well as preparation for a more formal children’s choir program such as the Delta Children’s Choir. Suzanne Potter is the Director of Music at First Presbyterian Church and Director, Director of the Delta Children’s Choir and the Music Teacher at Deer Creek School in Arcola, MS.

2012 Lenten Series & Pot Luck Dinner
Wednesday Evenings | 5:30 – 7:00 P.M.
- In Nunan Hall
This year’s Lenten Series will meet February 29 – March 28 (Except March 14). Following a pot luck dinner at 5:30, there will be a Kindermusik program for children ages Newborn – 5 years old and Children’s Choir for children ages 6 and up. For adult education, we will hear from a variety of local community leaders about mission and outreach programs.

Chris McRae has been active for many years in providing assistance to people and communities in need. His work includes:
• Director for Solar under the Sun
• Member of Central Presbyterian Church of Fort Smith
• CLP trained 103 (Technical installation) instructor for Living Waters for the World
• PDA (Presbyterian Disaster Assistance) Committee member
• Haiti Network co-coordinator for Living Waters for the World
• New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity's first Project Director in 1988 through 1991
• Board of Directors for Arkansas Valley Habitat for Humanity in 2000 to 2006
